Part of the third Erstwilder x May Gibbs collection, this Mr. & Mrs. Bear brooch has been caringly constructed from layered resins and finished with a combination of printing and highly detailed line work. A product of the imagination of one of Australia's most-beloved artists, they may not be true "bears", but Bib and Bub don't mind one bit.

Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of Erstwilder designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in Erstwilder's designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high-quality silver-plating in Erstwilder brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
