Karen McCartney

Karen McCartney has a wealth of experience in the areas of design, interiors and architecture. McCartney was the guest curator for the exhibition Iconic Australian Houses on display at the Museum of Sydney from 12 April to 17 August 2014, and SUPERHOUSE, also shown at Museum of Sydney 29 August to 29 November 2015.

McCartney is a former editor of Inside Out magazine and author of the best-selling books 50/60/70 Iconic Australian Houses, 70/80/90 Iconic Australian Houses, SUPERHOUSE, and more. Karen has been the owner of the Marshall House, designed by Bruce Rickard in 1967, since 2000.
